What tier of hardware would you consider "worthless"?

I consider low-end potato hardware without backward combability with older system builds to be worthless.

depends on who the equipment is for.

 

In my computer, its old and worthless if its more than like 2 generations old, which is why i keep buying new parts (disposable income is great sometimes 😛) . Got a 5900x and a RX 5700XT right now, looking for a merc 319 6800XT but only willing to pay MSRP, and every time i get to buy a card its always some Nvidia crap so i just sell it on eBay, gone through about 10-15 cards now its really annoying.

 

my moms computer on the other hand has a bulldozer and a random ATI GPU, yeah ATI its that old.

The only hardware I find useless is the stuff that just doesn't work any more. Other than that, someone out there could put it to use.

 

So you won't run a daily slot A processor, but I would put it to use overclocking the snot out of it XD.
