Already had (one of) my dream cars. 

1981 Chevy El Camino.

350 with Elelbrock intake and Headers.

650 Holley with vacuum secondary with 67 jets. (I think stock where 65)

Turbo 350 transmission.

4:10 rear end welded diff.

 

Had to sell it after my son and wife lost their jobs to covids. :..(

I have managed to get one of my highschool dream cars.  They were about at the bottom of their value when I graduated but could never catch a break and be able to afford one until about 6 years ago.  Was looking for something more "adult" and this thing happened to be at the same dealership.  1987 Buick Grand National.

My dream car hasn't been invented yet.

I want an electric car that is totally AI controlled. I just ride in back seat.

It would only come when I schedule it to on my phone. The rest of the time it would be driving other people to other places.

Also I would only have to pay a couple of hundred bucks every month to use it.

I wouldn't have to pay for anything just the use rent every month. The company that owns it would pay for everything else to maintain it.

I would love a set up like that mainly because I find day to day driving tedious and the cars super overpriced for what I need.

I just need a get it done car that makes my life easier.

Dream car, as in will never be able to afford or purchase, is probably between a Jaguar XJ220 as when I was a kid, and an R34.

Probably an older Porsche 911 Turbo. Something like a 930 Turbo.

 

I was originally going to buy one, but decided upon a new 992 Turbo S. Kind of regret not looking around some more for a 930 Turbo though. Could always buy one in the future.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

 

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

A Seat Altea XL. Sadly not made anymore... 

 

With that car I can drive 800+ KM with only stops to tinkle or resupply on coffee... and afterwards as over 1.90 m myself, I don't need to sort through my bones and put them back where they belong... 

 

with a 1.4l TSI machine with around 125 ps it isn't a rocket but 230 km/h she goes... else smooth sailing =)

Except that I would feel guilty driving one, I'd rather just mod a shitbox Impreza.

End goal is to get a Porsche 911 someday... we'll see if that happens.

As for the current day, I want to find a beat to shit MT 6th gen Civic for under a grand. Would be fun to have a shitbox I can beat on. Also looking for cheap E46 coupes.
