There is an option at the top of the page to use GPU's, but then there are all these other options below:

Subproject (AP)

Subproject (Sieve)

Subproject (Generalized Fermat)

Subproject (Wieferich and Wall-Sun-Sun)

I was just looking at the recent average GPU times.

What about these two with the credit bonuses:

image.thumb.png.dc41c8b106c9d6dee5a872681939f463.png

As these are averages its likely that some of my faster OC'ed gpu's like 3090,3080 and 6900xt聽will be able to finished up these tasks faster, maybe its worth doing the 10% or 20% bonus tasks on day one and changing to short tasks on the second day?

Yeah that could work, I do the short tasks to get as many as possible completed. But it is up to you what you think is best. I did consider the longer tasks but my GPUs are low-mid range these days.聽

I think the GFN-20 would be the longest task I'd do personally though.

I don't suppose it possible to specify which gpu's get which tasks, I have quite the mix of gpu's?

Might not want my 1080 doing a long task.

Yep

Pretty much, although depending on the platform you could use VMs and GPU passthrough to separate them into 'fast' and 'slow' groupings I suppose

Might be possible but my quick google came up with nothing.

There is however another way to do it and that is to run multiple instances of BOINC and assign GPU slots to each instance as you see fit, then you can have an instance with newer faster GPUs doing longer tasks and an instance with older slower GPUs doing short tasks.

But you'll have to look up how to do multiple BOINC instances as it's been like a year or two since I've done it

Its also sounds like a pain lol.

I didn't see anything about assigning GPU slot in Boinc manager, how do I do that?

Manually using config files, only done it for CPU threads before to work around task that hard crashed with more than ~32 threads so created multiple 32 thread CPU slots.

Well if I pull the 1080 then the slowest cards I have are 6700xt's, it might be worth me try long. I have some time now to put slower cards in a different machine or switch back to shorter tasks if long is too long.

Primegrid gives you the聽option to set different preferences, so maybe there is a way to assign different machines different preferences, for example set聽one machine聽as home and another as work.

Look in C:/ProgramData/BOINC and see if you have a CC_Config file, if you do can you post a copy of it here

You can update a computers location, and then give the different locations different preferences, so you can set per machine preferences. This solves one problem.

聽 聽</log_flags>
聽 聽<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>

You need to save it to that directory, call it 'cc_config.xml' and set encoding to ANSI, then restart the machine

EDIT: Oh and set it to 'all files' type
