New AMD driver worth it for a Vega 64?

Sarra

I saw this on Level1 or GN, about the new AMD drivers being better, with better crash reporting, and some performance improvements, but they only mentioned for the 5700XT/5700 and newer.

So, would I see any reasonable improvement on my Vega 64?

This system has been a bear to get stable, and I finally had it stable for a while, but the last Windows Update erased all of my gains in stability, so now I'm thinking it might be a good idea to mess with drivers to try for better stability.

Read the release notes, there should be anything you need to know in there. I doubt there's improvements for Vega anymore beyond maybe adding improved support for some newer games.

Don't see anything specifically improved for Vega.

It's always a good idea to be running the latest stable driver for your GPU, as drivers typically improve over time through bugfixes and security patches.
