I think it'd be nice if you had used actually more available parts.

Once the video drops and the 11700k sells out along with all the other parts you tell people to use , then that's it , back to square one. Be funner to see older hardware that is very plentiful.

A comparison of how the new Intel XE Graphics stack up to the Ryzen 3000 & 4000 APUs with the Vega Cores and the hopefully soon to be released 5000-series would be useful.

 

Also, isn't the current recommendations to skip the i7-7700K and go with 10th Gen instead? Unless, of course you need PCIe Gen4 for your GPU or NVMe.

I actually have 3 discrete GPU's, all nVidia: EN210, GT710 and GTX560.

 

But I don't use them. The onboard graphics is nominally better (AMD R7) although admittedly, some older systems have HD 6000 and HD7000 graphics. But they aren't used for desktop use anyway

 

As for Zen APU's, you can get them if you're in the US/Canada, right now. If you know where to look

@LinusTechhere you go, top of the line Zen2 APU: click   Add AIO, done. Vega8 GPU, 8c16t CPU, adequately suited for gamers. And you're not paying scalper prices. Yet... That is, if you're quick enough, 'cause I expect scalpers to jump on this instantly, buying all stock
