review..is this a good build worth the price?

Go to solution Solved by Analog,

Considering the current situation, it is a pretty solid build for the price. Could it be cheaper, yes, but probably you won't be able to find a better offer right now. If you need a new computer now, then this one will perform very well.

Budget (including currency): 1770 us dollars..or 10995 danish crowns

Country: denmark

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: games, triple A

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Rure Base 500 DX
CPU AMD 5600X
CPU cooler Be Quiet Pure Rock slim
motherboard Asus B550M-A
Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR4-3200 XMP RAM
Kingston 500GB M2. SSD
Geforce Zotach 3060TI 8GB
Corsair 650 Watt Strømforsyning

incl:
Fourzer Gamer Keyboard GH100

Got above offered for 1770 us dollars ( 10995 danish crowns).

Is it worth the money?

Yeah..i know..bad time to buy gpu, but my son cant wait...damn kids..

I mean, in theory:
CPU = 300$
GPU = 400$

And the rest of that build is absolutely not 1000$ worth of tech.  you're paying a premium right now for things that are hard to find.

decide if you're okay with paying the upcharge to get something during the shortage.

GPU = 400$

Except you can't get this GPU for 400$. I know that an RTX 3060TI isn't worth 1000€ but that's the current pricing. (At least where I live)
Don't get me wrong I don't recommend buying this GPU for 1000€, but that's the current pricing and we can't change it.

I was just stating MSRP, and saying that the build is being charged a heavy premium.  That's all.

Without knowing model and part numbers it's mostly a guess. The price does not seem outrageous gven current supply and pricing. But current gpu, cpu, and to some extent psu prices are outrageous across the board.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
