I currently am running a ryzen 3700x and 2 8gb sticks of gskill 3200 ram would I see an increase in performance if I switched to 16gb of 3600 ram

  1. That picure looks awesome
  2. regarding the ram upgrade: no, there difference is to small to notice. would be different if you went from 2133 to 3600 but 3200 is pretty darn fast for what it is

1. I totally agree. That's a sweet pic!

2. 3600 is definitely a decent boost in some applications/games over 3200, but if you already have a set of 3200, it definitely isn't worth upgrading to.

If you haven't already, make sure you're running the XMP profile in your bios. That should give you a nice little boost!

Hey thanks for the compliment I only ask because I've heard bitwise and linus say that ryzen chips seem to run better with faster memory but wasn't sure if 3200 vs 3600 was enough to worry about

you will always underperform compared to youtube benchmarks because those use a clean windows install with no background programs.
