No Sata Power Cable on my Power Supply

I bought an old Corsair power supply second hand awhile back when first starting to try and piece together a build. It's an 850w Corsair HX850w Professional Series that's supposedly 80 plus silver that is also semi-modular. The only connections that came with it is a 24 pin, 1 6pin pci-e, one 8pin pci-e, and an 8 pin eps for the cpu. That's it. for addition connections there is 6 6pin potential connections and 4 8pin potential connections.

 

Everywhere I've looked for a sata power cable that could connect into one of those sockets has come up empty, there are millions of pci-e to sata but not the sata power that connects to an ssd. theres also a bunch of MINI 6pin to sata power but those are mini 6pin.

 

My only options that i can think of is to buy a regular extension and and 6pin connection and Frankenstein them together to fit into my power supply. Or buy a new power supply

do make sure that these are for your exact model, mixing cables from the wrong unit can cause problems.

That is the power supply that I have, will the connector that you linked work with this one? 

It's a server psu, come to find out, which makes sense. But my concern with the connector is that there might be a big difference between the 'Corsair HX850' and the Corsair HX850w'

the w just means watts, so hx850w is an hx850, even shows as "hx850" in the link you provided.

fair enough, I guess Corsair has an HX850 for servers and regular pc's, kinda confusing to be honest but. That cable should be okay to go into my unit then presumably.
