Having issues with my WiFi

Got my first desktop from a close friend and for whatever reason it'll just randomly stop seeing my mobile hotspot exist - its literally the only device that does this... I've tried different cards and different PCIe slots... I've checked to make sure all drivers are up to date including chipset drivers and such and checked via Windows Update but I still can't seem to fix this issue....


Specs:
Mobo; MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
Mobo BIOS; 7C56v162
CPU; AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
GPU; AMD Radeon RX 5700XT
RAM; 32GBs of Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200MHz
WiFi Card; Atheros AR9287
WiFi Driver version; 10.0.3.456

Just to be clear, your mobile hotspot is setup on your phone, and you're connecting to it from your PC?

If so, do you have any other networks you can connect to from the PC to see if it still behaves the same?
