There are several good ones. My recommendations are down below, but here is a filter to show you all the monitors on pcpp thats will be 4k 144hz. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#r=384002160&D=144000,360000

The Price of the LG one fluctuates a lot. If your gonna get it, grab it rn, its as cheap as it gets.

Hello, first time post or even being in forums. After having my job for 3 years and paying all my student loans and car off I wanted to get my dream of having a top end computer. So I just spent a ridiculous(?) amount on the ibuypower prebuilt. Specs are Intel i9-11900KF (8x 3.50GHz/16 L3 Cache) and a Geforce RTX 3090-24GB GDDR6X (VR-Ready) (full build at bottom of post).

I have a decent lg monitor that will do for a sevond screen but i was wondering if anyone could recommend a monitor that would be up to the computers specs. Also looking for vr too. My budget isn't unlimited but am willing to spend. Thanks ahead for any help. Sorry if i did this in the wrong place or wrong way.

Full specs are

Operating System ::Windows 10 Pro
Case ::iBUYPOWER Lian Li LANCOOL II Mesh RGB Tempered Glass
Processor ::Intel® Core™ i9-11900KF Processor (8X 3.50GHz/16MB L3 Cache)

Monitors are personal preference. I would say, get a 1440p 144hz monitor. Or, if you can afford it, a 4k 144hz monitor would be godly

my signiture was cool, but its a lie now

Ultrawide sounds nice. But i have no problem with 16:9. Main thing I'm thinking about is i don't want a monitor that is a big bottle neck. I am thinking something with high refresh is my main want.

yes, its a 32:9 aspect ratio, compared to a regular 1440p monitors 16:9 aspect ratio, you'll love ultrawide if you've never tried it before

va panels have slower response times, meaning that you might experience some ghosting, ips has better response times than VA though, meaning not as much ghosting.  i made a post about the difference between all the panel types, here it is.

yeah, for fps gaming, a TN panel would be the best, but IPS panels are perfectly adequate and i would recommend that more since TN panels look so bad.

Ok and last question is there any reason Alienware AW2721D 27.0" 2560x1440 240 Hz Monitor would be better or is the extra cost just for the alien on the bottom?
