USB ports going crazy with VR set

This sounds like you're exceeding the amount of power available to all USB ports. I would try with less sensors, or more sensors plugged into individual ports if possible. If not, I would look into a USB PCIe card as that will have its own controller, so it wouldn't be reliant on the one on the board.

I hadn’t thought about an expansion slot specifically for my VR. This is great I’m going to try this and follow up on here it delivers tomorrow. Thank you so much for this idea.

So I got a PSVR set recently (Oculus CV1 to be specific) and when I plug it into my computer to set it up along with the 4 sensors my computer freezes up and all my usb devices start failing for example my keyboard and mouse will turn off.

I will post my PC Specs down below but I'm wondering is it a power issue or is it that I'm not supposed to use all ports at the same time. Another thing I wondered was that since I am running my sensors along the top of my ceiling I am using a usb splitter extension so all 4 of my sensors run back to the same usb 3.0 port could that be it? I hope someone has something for me here because I am bummed I haven't been able to test my VR set yet. Cheers and thank you  ahead of time for your suggestions and diagnoses.

PC Specs:

Mother Board: Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming

GPU: Zotac RTX 2070 Super Mini

CPU: Intel i5-9600k

PCU: EVGA 600 BR 80+ Bronze

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB

I would try them individually. You have enough ports.

I don't have any solution, just solidarity, all I can say, as an oculus owner myself, is that they seem to have problems with USB, my Rift S will disconnect and reconnect on it's own and do weird stuff like that, it tested two oculus on two motherboards and always got the same problem, I need to disconnect are reconnect them manually for them to work again.
