A (deceptively) simple question: white mousepad

I'm making an all white (well, fine, mostly white) build and I wanted a white mousepad.

Well heck, easy right? Hop on Amazon, look for something in the ~10$ range, and go from there.

 

Well...not so easy it seems. Lots of bad reviews, saying they don't grip underneath well (especially on a glass table, which I have) or they are too shiny and the optical mice don't work well, impossible to clean, and so forth.

So after looking about for a bit, I came away figuring I'd ask here, to see if anyone has any experience. If need be, I'll go up in price.

Looking for a mousepad that is about the size of a sheet of paper, 8.5"x11" (or thereabouts), is easy to clean the surface, and doesn't move around (good rubber grip on the bottom)

 

Any suggestions?

Having something your hand rests on like that, you're going to stain it in no time. I really wouldn't.

I agree with @dizmo. A white mouse pad doesn't sound like the best idea to me.

That's why I was looking for something easy to clean, but perhaps it doesn't exist.

Yeah, white fabric materials (like those found in a mouse pad) would easily get marks from different things, and it would also get dirty over time from your hand.

You could look for a hard finish, like a plastic mouse pad. Those would be fine. Some people actually prefer that feeling.

That was what I initially had in mind, any ideas where I could find one? Amazon's search engine isn't real helpful (or accurate, it seems)

Nothing really exists in the $10 range, I know Glorious PC Gaming Race makes a white deskmat and even extended mouse mats.  Really in the end you can have a white mat and it be fine, just means you need to make sure your hands are clean prior to using anything at the desk.
