Disabling a HID Gamepad Device causes my windows to die

Hi all!

 

so i was going to play DS 2 with a friend and the game has that issue that you need to disable HID gamepad devices in order to use your controller in the game
however upon disabling one of them the computer wants to restart and when it does that it boots instantly into a bluscreen with the error wdf01000.sys
when i go into safe mode to activate the device again it doesn't show up
2nd time that already happened. after the first time i just reset my windows and i don't want to go through that hasstle again so help is much apprechaited!!!

Update: got a pic of the bluescreen if that helps
