Nvidia recommends a 600W PSU for a 3060ti. Although it probably wouldn't be a problem with a 550, ampere cards have a tendency to spike up in power draw, so I'd stick to the recommendation. CX600 should be good enough.

Attention is what makes life meaningful.

Also, please quote me for a reply. 🙂

The 3080 and 3090 had the worst current spikes and the majority of the current spikes were patched out with drivers in December.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

No, a 10 year old groupregulated unit is not good enough for Ampere.

based on the list, it's a tier D unit, so it's not particularly good

but you can try to use it anyways since you already own it

Double forward with groupregulation. Transient reponse is to slow, has bad voltage regulation and it will be loud. No, it's a bad psu paired with 3060 Ti.

No, it's still double forward and a low quality platform.

You spend a lot of money. Here in NL I have to spend €1000 if I want to buy a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5600X. With such expensive components I don't want to cheap out on the PSU. Look for something from Tier A or B from the Tierlist

Definitely agree with SID here, you don't want to cheap out on a PSU and fry your expensive components down the line.
