so ive had my pc for a while, and i want to make a new build, however money is always tight in the pandemic, I know a graphics card will be a hard get, so I will opt to get one down the line when i can get a decent current gen card for msrp. I already have a nice enough case my and power supply, but I want to upgrade motherboard, CPU, ram, monitor,  and storage, along with grab a webcam. I'm just an average user and wouldn't be trying  to overclock at all, just looking for opinions for those who know more than I do about the vast world of pc parts.

here is a link to a pc part picker i did for the things i want to get, please be nice and don't tell me what i should have done or gotten, because the past is in the past, i want to go forward ^_^

thanks for all your help

dave

Since you have a graphics card you could use until you manage to get a new one, I'd do something more like this. $70 more for a lot more performance by swapping out the CPU.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Use your R9 390 too. 32GB of RAM is probabky overkill btw.

Don't go AMD right now for budget, not gonna lie. Intels i5 lineup is killing it on LGA 1200 for the price.

Big nerd.
