you should stream with your gpu instead, less performance loss

I have just built a new pc with a 6700 xt and 5600x I stream a with x264 with fast encoding 1080p at 6000bitrate I don’t drop any frames and i lose almost no gaming performance.

Looking to upgrade my stream setup. I already have all my monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc.

I play and stream games like Destiny 2, Outriders, Cyberpunk, and perhaps some cool new games when they come out.

I want to be able to keep streaming at 1080p 60fps but without having to hook into my work machine.

Current build is using my work MacBook pro to stream with, connected with an Elgato HD60 to my gaming rig. Which is currently running:

i5 4960k

Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

G.Skill 16GB DDR3 2400

Noctua NH-L9i

Corsair 1000w Platinum PSU

An old laptop HDD

Phanteks P400a case

EVGA GTX 1080 FTW GPU

I plan to reuse my case, PSU, and GPU (until prices go back to "normal")

What I am looking at is the following

Ryzen 5 5600x

ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard

CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 DRAM DDR4 3200

Noctua NH-D15

Samsung 970 Evo m.2

I live in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Looking to spend roughly around $1000 CAD.

Looking to buy from either Canada Computers, or Newegg, or really anywhere good I can get my hands on stuff.

I don't know much about motherboards, and I have heard the Ryzen 5 3600 is great for streaming, but thought the newer gen would be better, and be more future proof. Wanted thoughts, maybe there is a better MOBO for the same price, or I may be way off base on something.

Thanks in advance everyone, I appreciate any help.
