What is this thing that came with my prebuild?

Gritachi
Go to solution Solved by minibois,

It's the Coolermaster C10L RGB controller: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/rgb-accessories/wired-rgb-controller-c10l/

It probably plugs into some RGB splitter cable into the PC and maybe came loose (as I've learned in the RGB PC video from Anthony, these apparently get loose pretty easily).

Hi everyone.
Hopefully this is the right place for this.

I have bought a prebuild tower computer and it comes with this thing that I have no idea what it is?
Seems to be related to RGB?

If someone could help me out on how to make it work it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

it looks like some sort of an rgb controller that you would plug the connector into if you didn't want to deal with other software.

I'm new to Photography but enjoy it. I also run a Pentax *ist-DL mainly with a 18-55mm lens. I also have a 50-200 mm Pentax lens, and a Pentax 50 lens that is all it says.

It’s an inline rgb controller, you would plug this in between an rgb cable and an rgb light strip and use it to control the strip

Software management is better but if you wanted to use manual control, that works

Looks like the CPU cooler RGB controller Cooler Master includes with their products (this one specifically looks like the one that comes with the Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition). If your CPU cooler RGB cable is connected to your motherboard, then you don't need to worry about this remote. The RGB will be controlled via your motherboard software instead. But I would hold onto it in case you ever needed it for whatever reason.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks.
That all makes sense.

Do I need to mark this topic as Solved or something?
Have a good day!
