I plan to get a 3080 or 3090 down the road.  This is just what I could get my hands on for a decent non scalping price.  It will run what I need decently enough until the prices and supply come back around.

Yeah, makes sense. I totally missed the part where you said it was a placeholder until you get a 3080 or 3090. Sorry and good luck.
