Need help of getting data from phone

Hi first time posting here and don't know if ya'll accept tech support post but anyway... my friend recently destroyed her phone(Huawei P20 Pro) screen to the point that nothing appears on it. Still turns on. Developer mode is not enabled. Connecting it with USB C only prompts with the "Install HiSuite" which then asks for file transfer to be activated which I can not do, because again.. the screen is completely dead. Connected the phone trough HDMI to my monitor but all I'm getting is a locked phone screen and connection disappears when you touch the phone screen. Tried out many different software but all of the offer same stuff (either you have to have a Samsung or you need USB debugging active). Anyone know/encountered a way to maybe force developer mode or to at least be able to cast the phone screen to monitor so that I could enable it?

Thx for reply, I've already tried this one and it requires interaction with phone so it's not usable for me
