I can't figure out how to install Mystic Light

I installed Dragon Center.  From there, MSI's website says to click scan and then click Mystic Light and install.  After clicked scan, Mystic Light didn't appear, but some other stuff I can install did.  Should I install any of these?

You should definitely install the drivers. Is this from the website? It looks very familiar to the DVDs they provide with the motherboard box which can be out of date. 

 

For Mystic Light, does it show at all under Apps in Settings?

What is your motherboard? As an owner of MSI B350m bazooka, i would say that not all MSI motherboard support mystic light . I ended up using their other controller but its has no rgb . Only single color and breathing effects

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

Nope.  Nowhere to be found.

It’s MSI MPG Z590 Gaming Carbon WiFi.  Very frustrating.  I have no idea how to get it to do anything but rainbow wave.

I figured out the solution, which is to install an older version of Dragon Center that includes Mystic Light.

 

I am now able to sync the RGB on my MB, AIO and RAM, which I thought was wonderful.  However, I can no longer control the Lian Li fan RGB, not even from their L-Connect software.  It shows that my changes are applied in the software, but they’re not reflected on the actual fans.  Nothing is ever easy.

Go back into Mystic Light and toggle off the setting to override 3rd party software. 

That should be why you aren't able to use the Lian Li software.

I did that.  It’s actually because there’s a special fix you have to download for the Lian Li software when Mystic Light prevents it from working.

 

Now, of course, I can’t figure out how to keep my settings after shutting down.  The RAM and the fans just go to the default rainbow wave when I boot up after shut down.

 

EDIT: And apparently that fix didn’t stick and I again can’t control the fans.  RGB is a bigger waste of time than it is money.

That is why I got the Lancool II Mesh Performance instead of the RGB model. LOL
