Not getting 1440p resolution in browsers?

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

You have 125% scaling enabled. Websites don't have access to system information, they can't be used to accurately detect screen resolution since they depend on information provided by the browser.

My browsers are detecting 2048x1152 but it's not the full resolution of my monitor that is applied on windows 10.

Why is this happening and what can I do to fix this?

OMG Thank you so much! I put the scaling down to 100% and my web browsers are using the max resolution! You're a life-saver!
