I need a better graphics card to run blender

Please help I am in Canada trying to get my hands on a graphics card for running blender and the prices are so high I dont know what to do.  I believe I need to use a Nvidia card. I dont need the best card out there just something to help me actualy be able to use the program without emy computer hating my soul.  I know video cards are crazy now but please help me.

Good Luck... Very few vendors have any dGPUs in stock. If they do their pricing is way over what it would normally be.

what level of power do you need, like a 3090 or something more reasonable

You don't really need a powerful card for blender,  I know a couple of modders who use it and they often have just basic laptops and stuff.  I think 1050ti level performance gets you pretty far already.
