Offline / Online a disk in Disk management W10

Mike.

Hello,

If I remember correctly in older operating systems, right clicking on a disk in disk management gave the option to offline/online a disk.

It doesn't seem to be there in W10.

Is there a simple way of doing this for a disk connected by sata.

Also would it switch off the power to the disk to stop it spinning, then back on again.

Grateful for any advice.

Many thanks.

Mike.

Hi thanks,

I am clicking everywhere yet I get no offline option.

I am using W10 Home, not pro or other.

Maybe that's an issue ?
