Run it with older version of virtualbox or vmware player (free).

i got it working thanks i have to use 6.0.24

also if any finds this and has this error

Call to WHvSetupPartition failed: ERROR_SUCCESS (Last=0xc000000d/87) (VERR_NEM_VM_CREATE_FAILED).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: ConsoleWrap Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

disable the Windows Hypervisor platform, the Virtual machine platform, Hyper-V and Containers all in the turn windows feature on or off

i am using a windows 10 host running VirtualBox 6.1.18

i need to run windows 7 because i don't want to pay a new license cost for a program but i my version of the software is windows 7 only

so i thought i would just use virtual box but after getting my windows 7 iso (from Microsoft directly) and attempting to boot off it in virtual box i get stuck at starting windows

the animation does play but slowly and even after it is don it still wont load

i gave it 4 cores 8gb ram and am using hyper v in VirtualBox

i have been stuck on this screen for the past 30 minutes

Try unchecking nested paging.

Try disabling 3D acceleration. I've had several issues with it lately when running Windows 7 in a VBox VM.
