Retro monitor connector

Go to solution Solved by WhitetailAni,

That was Apple-only, I believe.

It's called DB-15 - search DB-15 to VGA adapter and you should see a bunch.

What is that monitor connector called that computers in the mid 80s to mid 90s used? It has 15 pins (but it is not VGA, it has a row of 8 over a row of 7). I need to know so that I can find a VGA to whatever that is adapter for an old display. Thanks!

Could take a look through this and see if you can find the one you're thinking of. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_connectors

Thank you,

It's for an IBM InfoWindow monitor, and the IBM PS/2 I'm pairing it with only has VGA.

The one on the right is DA-15, and is more commonly as the PC game port during the same era

Got a picture of the back of the system?

My 286 back in the mid-late 80's had a VGA plug on it still.

That's a terminal, not a monitor. Can you share a picture of the connections it has?

Excuse me, a terminal monitor, not a monitor. My bad.

Just this and a power plug.

Yeah, that's a terminal. I don't think you'll be able to use it with a PS/2.
