display port display port 1.1 to 1.2 issue crg5 odyssey

so now i bought Samsung odyssey crg50 which supports 1080@144hz

but for some reason it gives me only 120 hz from Nvidia control panel on 1.2 dp

but gives me 144 on 1.1 dp

when i change it to 1.2 dp from monitor button on 144hz too

it starts to blink 

till i reset it to 120 hz or reset it on 1.1 dp with 144
so will dp version affect my gaming?

and can i get 144 hz on 1..2 dp without blinking a lot then black screen

and at last
