Scaling issues with 32:9 Samsung Odyssey G9 while gaming at 16:9

Some games are not scaling properly or even cropping the image. I have tried some NVIDIA Control panel tweaks but nothing seems to work.

Some games have just their interface cropped, others have the image narrowed in width, like this Far Cry 5 example below:
