Recently dealing with the ASUS Thor PSU. Asus recommends to not have the fan facing up when there is no venting from the case. The paid link shows a different model as the one linked doesnt have a viewing section for the PSU. Watching the video at 10:57 you can see there is no ventilation from the PSU chamber and the main area of the case. Since this is a 1 off build and not to be used as a daily driver it should be ok but I would note that anytime you put a heavy restriction on a PSU that it could cause issues. If someone where to use a smaller Thor PSU the fan would most likely turn on since you would be utilizing alot more power from the PSU thus it would need more airflow. Since you are using a 1200W PSU for the video this problem could be mostly averted. Note that this is different from the fan normally facing up as that is ok its the issue where its being placed with the fan pointing towards a surface that doesnt have perforation holes thus restricting its ability to get any air.

Just thought I would note this down since the exact reason is why I chose another PSU and a case that doesnt have a PSU view. I wanted to use the 850W Thor but use a small case and none has available airflow where even ASUS was saying they do not recommend it as it could cause overheating restricting the fans access to air.

**I could be wrong as the case could have the holes but I do not see any ventilation**

Will you make a mix of the ROG pc and the RGB pc so you get THE ULTIMATE ROG RGB PC

Note: Building a computer at this time is a bad use for your stimulus check(not just the OP PSU), period. Old stock typically full retail, new stock is basically non-existent.

I've never had one break, and I've done some stupid stuff to mine 😂

Just wanted to appreciate how Anthony dropped the solution to my RGB problems on a sidenote (JackNet RGB Sync works great), I immediatly had to spend a couple of hours fixing my PC ^.^

The Phanteks neon stripes look amazing imo, but they don't really stick in my experience (at least not for long), I'd recommend using real glue if you intend to keep your system with the strips for a while..

Anyways great, entertaining video with some takeaways 🙂

I also did a build in the P500A. How did I do?IMG_20201201_201238.thumb.jpg.b61c510c6467f74b6657428044b8aaa2.jpg

Nice build, the nvidia adaptercable is unfortunate though 😅 have you tried routing the gpu power on top of the hpu backplate behind de aio tubes(maybe rotate the aio 180° horizontally) so the tubes hide the adapter and the front part looks less empty.

No, I think I might get a custom cable that terminates to 12 pins directly.

That's a fine solution too, nothing to add then 👍

(I mean as by the video, there's always rgb to add 😅)

Anthony seems kind of awkward and distracted in this video, like he's having to do a PC build at gunpoint.

System Specs: Second-class potato, slightly mouldy

He probably spent the whole shoot internally screaming "all that money could have gone into better parts instead of shiny lights!"

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

The bionix fans are too thick for any radiator screws, how did Anthony manage to screw them in with the provided screws?

Came across this video after being recomended the one about mixing ram since I want to add another 8 or 16, and think it'd be hella dope of they were RGB.

Pretty good. A small thing though. The keyboard doesn't exist. it's not available. Also Razer is well known for their RGB, everything.  I love the huntsmen, and this ruberdomeone who's name im having a late night brainfart on. Fantastic fealing keyobards for joe average. Also you get RGB mice! I have a pictek fast to the point of stupidity mouse with RGB

and even rgb game controller.

Also! that man needs a raise!
