Memory Temp higher than Junction Temp? - Powercolor Red devil 5700XT

Hello, My Red devil 5700xt memory temperature is hitting 90C while my GPU Doesn't even reach 65C, and my junction temp is below 80C, is this normal? Also memory clock is OC'ed at 1884, and has been running stable under full load 24/7 for days, not sure why memory temps suddenly decided to spike

That's pretty standard, was it always like that or is it new (or did you mention "suddenly decide to spike" simply becasue you never looked at it before)?

I've never looked at it before since Radeon software never mentioned memory temp and only found out once I started using Pulseway, pretty odd how its relatively higher than the junction temp, Thanks for the answer though.

Ouch. Don't you feel bad about running your VRAM that hot 24/7?

I'm gonna report you to the authorities for GPU abuse.

Not like there's much choice anyway. Probably has poor cooling on the backside chips, but given the card has a 4 year warranty I'd rather let it cook itself and eventually get replaced if needed rather than try to improve it myself and void that should anything else fail with it.

A 3080 doesn't have backside VRAM. But you have a point with your warranty. I personally rather have my PC being turned off when not doing anything. But you do you i guess. Plus when my card dies after installing a water block i'm pretty sure warranty won't cover anything.
