Is I9's 10850 integrated GPU alone enough for 4K video editing or I would need a dedicated GPU?

Hi everyone, I am planing of buying new gear mainly for Photoshop and some video editing.  For gaming I have an Xbox so I would love to save money and use integrated GPU.

Therefore I wonder if I would still need a dedicated graphic's card for 4 K video editing and rendering or not?

The processor is 9's 10850 paired with 34 Gb of RAM.

Thank you all!

It should be fine for just video editing, but keep in mind that you probably won't be able to take advantage of any GPU acceleration features. Also some effect's in premiere will need to use GPU acceleration so you may notice a slow down when using those specific effects. Though for now the integrated graphics should be more than enough but I would suggest at a later date when there's actual gpu stock to buy a 1650 super or gtx 1050 ti.

Many thanks for quick answer. I do plan of getting the GPU in near future as now they are all overpriced.

They make 2 gig stick of DDR4? damn.

Anyway, it should be enough as long as you make proxies or turn down preview quality, but dont expect your render time to keep you in that "time is money" slogan.

I meant 2 x 16 gb of ram. Sorry. 🙂 It's more than a casual video editing so time at least is not money for now. Ahahaha.
