Which headphones do I buy?

fetwart

I have a pair of old Trust headphones which has served me well but after some time they stopped working as they were back when I bought them. I can't decide which pair should I get between Razer Blackshark v2 x and Razer Kraken Tournament Edition. If you have any suggestions keep in mind the budget (~$75) and the quality of the mic (not outstanding but reasonable). I aim around the deeper bass and good surround sound.

There are multiple options and so much good choices, if you really want something classy, budget friendly, and offers 7.1 surround sound, you can always go for the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wired Gaming Headset

Have a little more cash? Go for the Logitech g433 7.1 headset, offers 4 different colors, a great quality mic and so much more, no RGB however

Wow you are praising "7.1 surround" headsets that can be programmable with RGB shit. Great mic as well. Yeah I'll look that up right now, probably sounds great... Actually it is not worth it. I know it will sound horrible. The only good "gaming" headset out there I've heard are the MH752's that has one of the best mics for a headset for that price I've ever heard. It has "7.1 surround" AKA virtual surround.

Anyways. To get good audio, you need to research more and look at what audio really is. You can't achieve 7.1 surround with headphones. It is just plain BS. There are 2 drivers in 99.999% of headphones out there and not a single one can achieve true surround. Simply because the driver is too close and there are only 2 drivers producing sound, not 7. In this case you just need good headphones with good imaging and with a good mic. As I said. The MH752 from cooler master are a reskin of existing headphones, the takstar pro 82 but with a mic attached that actually sounds good to be a headset. I really hope you can stretch that budget to the MH752's because you're not going to regret it.

PM or DM me if you have any questions about audio.
