Or 1080p on a 1080p monitor at the cost of slightly more inconvenience?

 

Because i dont know how much effect up/down sampling has or how well windows does it by deafult.

 

The 3rd option on the poll is saying that 1080p on a 1080p monitor looks noticably better than 4k on 1440p.

Im asking if downscaling or upscaling will look better.

 

If you have a 1440p monitor and a choice between 4k film and 1080p film which do you go?
