2TB sabrent Rocket no longer detected in bios, RMA refused for silly reasons after scrutinizing my hardware

teylol

recently my sabrent rocket 2tb nvme drive has died(and very rarely used as im a key worker in the UK and i havent had the time to enjoy it) with solid proof and sabrent have refused my RMA request despite being well over a year left in warranty and im hoping some of you guys can come up with a solution to fix it if i havent found it myself

hardware is (yes they scrutinised my hardware as if it was my fault it failed)

CPU is Ryzen 5 3600
Psu is evga supernova G2 750w
GPU is palit rtx 3070
No other devices using PCIe slots and have tried swapping the drive to the second m2 slot on my MSI b550m mortar WiFi motherboard

confirmed invoice and address but they are refusing my RMA request

its not a cheap component so if theres anything i missed can you let me know, i have attached a screencap showing in sabrents own control panel the drive is actually dead

Go to the store you bought it from and have them handle the RMA for you.

Or

File a complaint to your local Consumer Protection Agency.

i dont know if this will work as they heavilly scrutinised me for my hardware, where i got it, invoices, proof of delivery and such and then just said no when everything i provided was legitimate

ive attached proof of my hardware with speccy which again clearly shows the dead M2 drive

try and file a return at the store you bought or file a complaint with your local consumer protection agency, 1 or the other

Ask them to do that for you since you are having problems with it.

You could try:

Testing the drive with the manufacturer software and upload the results here.

Then link them this thread to reference that you have done some hardware testing.

When they see you have publicized the issue that they will not RMA the drive, you can post the conversation results here as well. Just blot out names and other important information for privacy reasons.

And finally, good luck!

Ah I see. Wasn't sure if that was their software or not.

The drive is dead, you should have no issues with warranty.

If they won't warranty, I will never consider this brand for use.

Thank you for posting this here.
