Got lucky at Micro Center

crazy_wes

This was my first visit to the Micro center in Duluth Georgia and i was only going to ask questions about my odds of getting a GPU. I got there little bit before 9:00 am as they were giving out vouchers and i was the 3rd person and i think they only had 5. The person giving out the vouchers said they don't get shipments on the weekend but had these just sitting in the back. I needed to give them my ID for the voucher and again when checking out and had to make a account. I was looking for a 3060/TI for my ITX build and this won't fit but getting a new case will be easy 20210410_112958.thumb.jpg.f28c013e3611394bad4770d0c9fb3671.jpg

Tbh microcenter is fairly good about getting regular shipments and preventing scalpers so its not unheard of to get a new gpu there. The problem is they won't tell you that online and the employees won't always divulge that info. If you go there at the opening of the store you will get a gpu eventually its just a matter of getting there on the right day.

I see lines of 20+ outside the one in Cambridge M-F on my way to work every AM

prob one's best bet to get a GPU right now is to hit up your local MC when you can morning of and see if you can hit the lotto
