Can someone help me with my first pc-build

Budget (including currency): 2000 - 2500 euro or around 2500 USD

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming at 4k or Quad and for some schoolwork

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

So i decided to build a pc and this is what i've come up with. Any recommendations or changes that i should do?

Btw: Do i need a Fan controller and also, Pcpartpicker gives me this message: "Some AMD X570 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions." What does this mean.

hey,

when a new cpu line-up comes up, some motherboard manufactures will update their board's BIOS (software) to fit it, rather than making a new motherboard model.

for the new AMD 5600X some mobos do need this bios update, you can find online how to do it, very easy. you can ask from the seller to do it, in my country they do.

Your build has some solid choice but some that you should avoid.

- Where is the SSD? its a must. Also, why would you need 4TBs? Unless you are a graphic editor or something you are not supposed to go over 2TB worst case secnario.

- gpu soilid choice yet I cant recommend it since im not aware of the current pricing and availability of them.

- could go for a much cheaper mobo even if you want to OC, its just too much. same as the CPU cooler.

- im not sure you can find stock of the chosen case but if you do why not.

1000 euro is steep for a 3080, msrp is around 600-700 euro

With those savings you can upgrade to a 5800x, or even 5900x since the rtx 3080 is cheaper than originally entered

Well you cant get it msrp i went for a realistic price.

If you can find it cheaper then 5800x is a goos choice yet 5900x is a bit overkill imo

they are being scalped for 1500 euro, 1000 euro is too little for the current market and too much for msrp.

Either way, would get a 5800x

i thought you ment the other way sorry.

in most countries you can find them easily for the price I said in local vendors, just need to look up.

for some reason americans use 3-4 main shopping websites like nothing else exists.
