Other details  upgrading from a 8 year old crappy laptop. have a MX master 3 & G502 Lightspeed, G512, and sony wh900. This is the best i've came up with, after 3 months of planning (not the best at tech). have around 1000 CAD left over for a 6800xt/3080/3080 ti after scalping is over.

The motherboard should be a Z590

You cheaped out on memory, not good

You overpayed for the SSD

The PSU is the worst you could've picked out, gigabyte makes decent motherboards, but i'd definitely avoid their GPU's and especially their PSU's.

hm. I need a bit more gpu beef (stratum 1024 &  continuum RT at the same time might be a little too much for a 3060 ti) so would it be advisable to get a 3070?
