Buy eBay Graphic cards or hold on?

PhanEcksWhy

I have a 1050 ti and it runs ok but is a bottle neck for AAA titles. Would you purchase a 1650 OC on ebay if you are able to get it close to MSRP? Or hold out until we start having RTX 3060 in stock again?

There is not going to be much of a difference at all between the two once you start getting into modern, high-spec AAA titles. Definitely not worth it.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Hypnotoad's RAM is dying, his motherboard is acting like the 6-year-old AsRock it is, a couple of SATA ports have just stopped working, but the RGB remains. The RGB always remains. Hypnotoad lives. All glory to the Hypnotoad.

Thanks, I wasn't to sure since my 1060Ti has been put through the ringer with these games. Here's hoping I can snag a RTX3060 soon.

A 1650 is a very slight upgrade over a 1050Ti but not much. So not really worth the money unless you can sell the 1050 for more.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

You can try and find something like a 1070, if you look long enough something will go through cheap.

Otherwise you're going to probably be waiting close to a year for pricing to normalize.
