Upgraded my cpu and added a second monitor.

I upgraded my cpu from a ryzen 5 3600 and added a monitor. My psu has a smart fan button and the fan would turn off before if not under heavy load. When I put 3800x in it would turn off in complete idle, but now I’ve added a second screen it doesn’t idle any more... just curious if that means I need to upgrade my power supply? Also give me more Madison, she’s funny as hell!!! #Madisonclub

ctrl shift esc to task manager and check if your pc is really idle when you think it's "idle".

That PSU , although not the greatest in terms of quality , should be plenty of power in your current setup.

It’s not bad, it’s 80+ gold. I’m wanting to upgrade to 2080 or 3070. At that point I will get an 850 80+ platinum or would 1200 be overkill?

So the fan not idling when smart fan is on should be fine? Is there a sight I can go to and plug my stuff in and see my watts, or buy a plug that reads it?
