Probably the farthest David Bowie's ever strayed from rock, but that only makes this great album even more impressive.

The midway point of this song resembles something you'd hear in "To Pimp a Butterfly" by Kendrick Lamar, yet it doesn't feel forced or unnatural in any way, and it's unlike anything found in his earlier music (at least from what I've listened to). Just goes to show the creative genius that Bowie was.

I wasn't a fan of his work until somewhat recently. In a way, I kind of feel bad about that considering how much I'm enjoying it now, but eh. If anything, it makes me see this what is now known as his farewell album in a totally different light. 

He's one of the few celebrities/artists I'd genuinely have loved to meet and have a conversation with.
