Somebody brought up ecstasy of gold in a thread.  They linked the symphony version, which made me think of S&M, and then I went to the all Metallica one instead.

@Volbet I'm not their biggest fan, but I do enjoy a few of their songs for Tate's vocal abilities.  I do love his vocal fry and chest voice on songs like Silent Lucidity and Empire.

After having seen both Geoff Tate's Queensrÿche and Queensrÿche without Geoff Tate, I think it was very much a symbiotic relationship. 

Neither party really work without the other.
