Finally picked up the new Exodus album. I have to say, the title song is fantastic. Strong Toxic Waltz vibe.

Depends on what you mean with "melody". 

In the most common sense of the word, those songs do indeed have melody since the tones aren't randomly arranged.

However, in the more academic sense, no, those pieces aren't melodic since they are composed as multiple layers that aren't meant to be concived as a singular piece.

Actually, that's something extreme metal prides itself on. It's to the point where most extreme metal subgenres have melodic subgenres of their own. 

 

For example, death metal

 

And melodic death metal

 

And just so we have an example of something that is unmelodic in every sense of the word:
