Crossover and punk binge. 

Municipal Waste has quickly become my favourite thrash band. So much so, I'm going to put a vest together with them as the back patch. x:

I also need to do something with all the patches I have accumulated in the last couple of months. 

My life is not getting any better by them just being stored in a box.

 

And if we are doing crossover, here is a local crossover band:

Whether or not they're any good is up for debate, but they are semi-heros in the Danish metal scene. 

 

And just becuase no punk discussion is complete without Siege

All I have planned for the vest right now is visible stitching and it being rather messy.

I can only imagine that I takes time to plan out how the patches go on a vest or jacket. 

Out of all the 20+ patches that I have now, I don't think two of them are the same size, so fitting them together could prove quite the challenge.

Maybe I should actually put them on something. Maybe I should create a battle sweater just to be unique.

I can safely say I didn't plan out my current vest all too well and I particularly don't like what's happened to the back, but I do believe that's because I tried to make the vest look as neat as possible and it just didn't work. Though, it can be fixed over time. I want to abuse the fact that no patch is identical and turn it around to my advantage. I got the newly released Old Corpse Road patch the other day that was released in line with their new album, and it's smaller than the other round patch I have, but it'll work. My current idea is a Municipal Waste rectangle The Art Of Partying back patch with a shaped Metallica Logo patch overlapping above it, invisible stitching around the edges and visible on the corners. 

 

That sweater looks like a terrible Christmas jumper. :D

 

Currently listening to Havok. They have a new album releasing soon. In fact, so do Waste, they played a new song at Download.
