Id go with the i5 and igpu, should be plently for most work. Got a nice monitor, as I like that.

Budget (including currency): $850 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: photoshop

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): The budget includes pc, monitor (ideally 27"), keyboard, mouse, and headphones.

A friend came to me asking for help with a build for photoshop (I believe just as a hobby) with a budget of $850 for everything. I haven't been paying close attention to what the best parts are for a budget like this in the current market so I am here for some help with a parts list. Ideally it will be new parts but if you can recommend somethings to look for on the used market, im sure they will be open to it. Case size/form factor doesn't matter.

Thanks in advance!

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

a bit over budget but you can get the Graphics card on ebay.  If you really need it to be cheaper go for 16gb ram instead of 32
