4k120 and Surround Sound on Xbox Series X

I have been unable to find a working receiver that will properly pass through 4k120. What is going to be the simplest way to get 4k120 and surround sound out of my Series X? Apologize if this should be easy. I'm in full upgrade mode and making a big jump in tech with TV and receiver.

Connect to TV and have the sound go to the receiver through ARC.

That's incorrect, friend has one... but they're pretty high end.

However I do think op needs to lower their expectations as part from lower end graphics games and older games 4k 120hz ain't happening like ever.

They're not high end at all and they don't work.

I've explicitly looked for AVRs that will do more than 60 and never found one. You'll have to plug into the TV then go to the AVR.
