Strange quote timestamp that doesn't add up.

If you copy + paste a quote, it loses its special handling and just shows the timestamp that showed up for the author at time of copy+paste, including "x hours ago". Some people use copy + paste to split quotes rather than the more supported methods of pressing enter twice inside the quote, or selecting text in the post and using "quote this".

I just noticed a post multi-quoting a post from Monday but yet one of the quote boxes' timestamps says something kinda of wacky which doesn't add up.

You'd have to have the Admin take a look at the logs for issues. I do not know if a post edit will affect the post date.

I'm guilty of that actually since I do it like this LOL. Okay guess that explains it, wonder why I never noticed it though. Lucky find I suppose.
