As of late I've noticed myself trending audiophile but my latest little romp with sound has made me question my judgement. After taking my morning shower today, inspiration struck me to test out what I've seen on YouTube a couple of times (an ominous sign for any idea) by a few cover singers, utilize the enclosed space of a bathroom for music. So I toted down my MP3 dock and gave it a go, and lo it wasn't bad at all. Not a concert hall or music studio mind you but not bad at all. Now for most of you I know you're thinking " Why is this idiot wasting our time with this? This is nothing new."

Well the reason is this, I'm curious how many of you use your bathroom in this manner on a regular basis outside of staving off boredom in the shower? Are there people who will head to the bathroom for no other reason than to listen to music? Is that a thing?

I don't know. I'm considering it, from time to time. Which is a little weird and creepy to me cause I have one of those bathrooms whose light and fan share the same switch and I found myself sitting in the dark for about twenty minutes because I didn't want the fan to run. :-) What is wrong with me?

If it's for your love of music, and you enjoy yourself, hang a disco ball and party on. I've heard of weirder stories and have one from my friend who put a whole sound set up in his master bath because he enjoys the acoustics of it much more that his carpeted, wall papered bedroom. He spend about 30 hours a week int here now. He doesn't shower in it, he JUST uses it for his audio system.

Speakers sound different depending on the acoustic properties of the room in question, and certain songs were written with certain acoustic properties in mind (not to mention hearing differs from person to person), so I wouldn't doubt that some people like listening to their music in the bathroom or otherwise :P

This is why people sometimes sing in the shower.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

I don't listen to music with speakers in the bathroom, but I can quickly end up sitting on the shitter for half an hour with headphones on, listening to music and playing some stupid game on my phone. and at home I have a small room just for the shower, which is right next to my livingroom, so when I shower, I just blast music in the livingroom.

I always use music in the shower as a measurement of time :P

I have a shit first gen jbl creature in the bathroom, I just pulg my iphone to that when ever I am in there for any amount of time.
