Build Upgrade | Motherboard, CPU, RAM

BraccusRex

Hello!

I'm looking to update my current set up with a new motherboard, CPU, and more RAM (and power supply if needed). Then grab a graphics card upgrade when either I see a decent deal, the craziness dies down, or my 1070 explodes. My main concern is that there will be some problem with the new hardware and the old. I've checked compatibility with PcPartPicker but before ordering anything I decided to double check with you guys. Below I've tried to answer the questions recommended on the forum and included my current build and what I am planning on purchasing as an upgrade. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have been out of the loop for awhile when it comes to hardware. Thanks!

Budget (including currency): $1000 US

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games mostly, with some basic Office thrown in. Main games are Escape from Tarkov, Hunt: Showdown, and Rocket League. I primarily play FPS games and Roguelites. I am also a tab monster/multitask-er.

Monitors: 2 (one 60hz, one 144hz, both 1080p), and I have a 3rd that I would like to run but my current set up can't handle it.

Peripherals needed: None.

Current Build:

Upgrade List: Ignore the 1070 on there, I added it to check compatibility.

16gb is plenty 32gb is overkill and a waste of money invest that in a better psu. A 10700f would be the best deal amongst all with the usual h470 steel legend by asrock. It's better and price should be a little less.

I bought the Hyper 212 for my 9700k, it was the first upgrade I made. The NH D15 or the corsair H100i plat AiO are both around $100 but having the H100 I got a big difference in thermals
