L4 Bass-y Headphones

DrunkPenguinz

I'm in the market for some headphones in the $50-150 price range, but with the main focus being that it has some bass. I've been using the ATH-AD700X's for everything I do on my computer, which is mainly just gaming, listening to music, and basic video editing. While I think they sound great, a lot of the music I listen to feels like it's lacking on the lower end. The main things I'm looking for in a new pair of headphones are that they're over ear and closed back, as well as comfortable to wear for long sessions. Any recommendations are appreciated.

For 150$ you’re not gonna get so much of an upgrade in sound as you will a simply different sound. Your best option would be the ATH m50x’s, which are a very similar sound overall except being closed back for better bass.

for a bit cheaper, the ATS WH660’s are the 100$ mark and are a similar story

even cheaper than that, fake “refurbished” beats by Dre on wish, they’re about 10$ shipped and they’re fake as fake gets but the few times they’ve shown up on YouTube people say they sound decent enough, more than worth 10$

These are what I use: https://www.pioneerdj.com/en-us/product/headphones/hdj-x5/black/overview/

They're not bass-boosted... If you like what you have, you could just add this: https://www.schiit.com/products/loki-mini-3 It's NOT going to give you a LOT more bass, but can fill it out. I have one, and I love it.

There's another company that makes a 2 band EQ, but I cannot find it for some reason...

My favorite bassy headphones sub $150 are the creative aurvana live and the live SE which is the refresh. Sivga sv 006 is also really nice, takstar pro 82 with the customizable bass ports is very comfortable and can get stupid bassy as well.

Just remember that headphones will never have the gut shaking sub-bass that a subwoofer offers.

I have a selection of amp's and headphones and none of them are BASSY, they just have present bass that can be full.
