For anyone in Mumbai, India (All computer hardware stores):

All the stores below are from a place called Lamington Road: (To help YOU get a Good Deal right now on PC Hardware)

Max IT World --- RTX 3060 Ti's starting at $450-650, RTX 3080 for $1000, RTX 2080 Super for $550-750

PrimeABGB --- RTX 3060Ti's from $500 to $700, RTX 3080 for $1200

99Deals.in (NOT a valid website though) --- RTX 2060's for $300, GTX 1650 Super for $190-220, GTX 1660 Super for $230-280

Now I know these are worse prices than other places; but these are ALMOST ALWAYS in STOCK, and that is why I'm recommending them.

The thing is; Indians don't really buy RTX 3080s and 2080Ti's, they buy mostly mid range video cards; like the 3060, even then, India doesn't have as many miners and scalpers as other countries. This on the whole means that India doesn't have a GPU stock crisis.

In Steveston:

  • Win Win Chick-n
    • best fried chicken I ever had
    • make sure you get the mashed potatoes with a side of their gravy
  • Hog Shack
    • great slow cooked smoked meat
    • they also have the impossible burger, which really does taste like beef
    • specials are usually good
    • when they have it as a special, I highly recommend their gumbo with pulled pork added and a side of sour cream

I can vouch for both of these spots!

It's been mentioned before but I love Cockney King's Fish & Chips (Burnaby & New West).  They use a great potato for their chips, which are the best I've ever had!  Their prices are very reasonable.  They do have an All You Can Eat special  Monday - Wednesday, serving pollock (AKA Boston bluefish, a type of cod).

In Quebec city

  • Chez Ashton (they are the one who has the best poutine)
  • Centrale Bergham is one of my favorite restaurants, it's burgers are reaaaaaaalllly good
  • A&W is nice, although it's pretty much a big chain
  • Shogun sushi
  • LvlOP, cool restaurant bar and you can play videogames while drinking beer and ordering food.

You can order to some of those restaurants even after curfew, on uber eats, doordash. But also this site, which is allows you to order from restaurants without the high commissions uber charges.

Le Panier bleu is a big catalogue for anything sold by quebec business, Ma Zone Québec is something similar, but more locally made oriented experience.

Alex, is there something you'd like to talk to us about? Don't worry, this is a judgement free zone, you can be honest here.

Insanity is not the absence of sanity, but the willingness to ignore it for a purpose. Chaos is the result of this choice. I relish in both.
