Apps that work without android system Webview that you might think wouldn't

  • Google maps
  • Play Store
  • F-Droid
  • Aptoide
  • Hulu
  • Amazon music
  • Firefox and its forks
  • Brave browser

Protonmail app also appears to work without Android System awebview, although you can't seem to write any emails.

So all-in-all, it seems Android System Webview is pretty essential for running most apps. Another thing I notuced, no advertisements on any apps will appear while Android System Webview is disabled. So if you're okay with losing a lot of apps, you can do that. What apps have you noticed that donct work without Android System Webview?
